Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the DotPop! app ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by Mauricio Montanha Junior ("Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
• The operating system you use on your mobile device
• A unique user identifier (UID) generated by Firebase Authentication
• Display name chosen by the user for multiplayer lobbies
• Email address and profile data, if the user chooses to link a Google or email account
• Anonymous account identifier, when anonymous login is used
• Visual player preferences (avatar and color), linked to the UID

The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device. Approximate location may be inferred by third-party advertising SDKs from your IP address in order to serve relevant ads.

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

Behavioral and Usage Data (Analytics)

The Application logs usage events for analysis and service improvement purposes, including:

• Game session start and completion
• Power-up use and dismissal
• Visual style changes
• Player level and career progression
• Purchase button clicks
• Screen navigation flow and back actions

Technical and Diagnostic Data

The Application automatically collects technical data for stability and security purposes:

• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): app crash logs, hardware model, and operating system version.
• Integrity verification (App Check / Play Integrity): confirmation that the app is running on a legitimate, unmodified device.

Transactions and In-App Purchases

The Application offers in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing. The Service Provider receives transaction confirmation and the identifier of the purchased product. Payment data (card numbers, etc.) is managed exclusively by Google and is never accessed by the Service Provider.

Local Storage

The Application stores data locally on your device using SharedPreferences, including:

• career_progression: player levels, stars, and progress
• game_stats: total wins, losses, draws, and time played
• game_prefs: sound, music, and vibration settings
• notif_prefs: notification preferences
• debug_settings: internal technical settings

This data remains on your device and is used solely to provide a personalized gameplay experience.

Real-Time Multiplayer

When using multiplayer mode, your display name and ready status are visible to other players in the same lobby. This data is processed in real time and is not permanently stored after the match ends.

Android Permissions

The Application requests the following system permissions:

• INTERNET: required for multiplayer mode, Firebase services, and ad display.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: checks connectivity before starting online matches.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: allows sending reminders and alerts (Android 13 and above).
• VIBRATE: provides haptic feedback during gameplay.
• WAKE_LOCK: used by advertising SDKs to keep the screen active during video ads.

Notifications

With your permission (Android 13+), the Application may send game-related reminder and alert notifications. You can manage or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy policy.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
• when disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider and agree to follow this privacy policy.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

If you would like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact the address below. The request will be fulfilled within a reasonable timeframe.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at the email above.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable safeguards to protect the information processed and maintained. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify users of any changes by updating this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes, as continued use of the Application is deemed acceptance of all updates.
